About the Curator:
Garu is one of the few stand-up comedians based in Penang. He started performing in May 2016 with Say It Like You Mean It, a local mentorship program and since then Garu has been performing all around George Town including at the George Town Festival, the Butterworth Fringe Festival and was the only comedian to perform at the George Town Literary Festival 2016.
He hopes to build the comedy scene in Penang and take it to much greater heights.
